The FIA is hiring for several key positions ranging from Basic Pay Scale (BS) 04 to BS-15. Here is the breakdown:
1. High-Level Positions (Graduation Required)
- Assistant (BS-15): 21 Posts. Requires a Graduate degree and 6 weeks of IT training post-selection.
- Sub-Inspector (BS-14): 94 Posts. Requires a 2nd Class/Grade C Bachelor’s degree.
- Assistant Sub-Inspector (BS-09): 117 Posts. Requires a 2nd Class/Grade C Bachelor’s degree.
2. Clerical & Technical Staff (Inter/Matric Required)
- Stenotypist (BS-14): 47 Posts. Requires Intermediate and a shorthand speed of 80 w.p.m.
- UDC (Upper Division Clerk) (BS-13): 29 Posts. Requires Intermediate.
- LDC (Lower Division Clerk) (BS-11): 64 Posts. Requires Matric and a typing speed of 30 w.p.m.
3. Uniformed & Support Staff
- Constable (BS-05): 941 Posts (The largest category). Requires 2nd Class Matric.
- Constable Driver (BS-05): 39 Posts. Requires Matric and a valid LTV license.
- Staff Car Driver (BS-04): 42 Posts. Requires Primary education and a valid driving license.
Physical Requirements (For Uniformed Posts)
For roles like Sub-Inspector, ASI, and Constable, candidates must meet the following physical standards:
- Height (Men): 5 ft. 6 inches
- Height (Women): 5 ft. 4 inches
- Chest (Men only): 33 x 34.5 inches
Age Limit and Relaxations
The general age limit for most posts is 18 to 25 years (up to 28 or 30 for specific roles like Assistant or Staff Car Driver).
Note: There is a general 5-year age relaxation already included in the upper age limit as per government rules.
